UniFi

UniFi is Ubiquiti’s line of enterprise-grade networking equipment designed for unified management through a single controller interface — the UniFi Network application, which can run locally on a dedicated device or in Ubiquiti’s cloud. The product line spans wireless access points, managed switches, security gateways, and all-in-one routers. UniFi equipment is popular in small businesses and prosumer home networks because it delivers enterprise features — multiple SSIDs, VLAN segmentation, traffic shaping, detailed analytics — at a fraction of the cost of traditional enterprise gear.

All UniFi devices on a network are adopted into a single controller, providing a unified view of the entire network: connected clients, traffic statistics, device health, and configuration — all from one interface.

The home network backbone is built on UniFi hardware, including the UDM Pro SE (router, firewall, and controller), UniFi managed switches, and UniFi access points. The full network topology is documented in Home Network.
