The solar power system consists of several devices. Front and center are the solar panels.1 There are two sections of panels, each arranged on one of two roof planes.2
- Two arrays, made up of 24 total panels on the eastern portion of the south-facing roof plane.
- Array “w”, 12 microinverters
- Array “12”, 12 microinverters
- And 12 panels arranged in two arrays on the east-facing roof plane (over the garages)
- Array “q”
The AC power generated by each array of microinverters is connected via a PVC conduit on the roof to a junction box where they all meet, then passes through the roof. The lines travel from that box through the attic and are then fed through the soffit into another junction box mounted on the west wall of the duplex, just south of the unit B rear garage doorway.
They are connected to the Envoy
